Fact 4: Avant-garde genome assay reveals that the DNA that sets us apart from other primates is the effect of an ancient, mysterious, and precise fusion of genes that suggests something across evolution made our humanness possible.
Enough said.

Although entertaining, I plant this book to be full of what I call "assistant logic"... which goes something similar this: bananas are proficient for united states because they are rich in Potassium and I eat a lot of bananas. Therefore, I am good and rich. Although Braden says he is a scientist and researcher, I see nothing in his credentials to support this. He routinely uses a unmarried reference to support his points and freely uses web sites as his sources of data. I recommend anyone who reads this book to check out the spider web sites he chooses to support his disbelief in evolution. If he submitted this as a junior level college term paper, I would requite him a D+ or possibility a C-. This volume is a weak statement to back up his beliefs. This volume gives me a lot to think almost. I'd loan it to my friends, just I've also scribbled notes on most of the pages, peculiarly where I think the author takes a peachy leap from established fact into speculation without notifying the reader it has happened. He makes a good instance for why the theory of evolution has notwithstanding to be proven. He makes a less skillful example for the eye-brain connection; I would have liked to take seen supporting evidence, also for his anecdotal support for "heart memory." He makes a less expert example for the heart-brain connexion; I would have liked to have seen supporting evidence, likewise for his anecdotal support for "heart retention." Does every heart recipient experience unusual hungers based on the preferences of the original heart bearer? Take studies been washed with every heart recipient to verify these occurrences? What percentage show "memories" from the donor? I as well wish Braden had explained more how we can heal ourselves - he claims to accept shown u.s.a. how, simply other than some vague ideas about how we encourage lengthening of our telomeres, I didn't see whatever solid information on cocky-healing.
I don't argue that there is truth in what he is saying, I am simply saying that to me, it was vaguer than I would prefer.

I've just got to raise my chapeau to Gregg. He has an amazing ability to bring his thorough research and even more unequalled ability to summarize his findings in a concise, legible and incredibly interesting mode. Non groundbreaking Skillful science justification. Simply to little practical communication. And the one there is, is based on hearthmate found piece of work. I had bang-up expectations for this book simply I am a picayune desapointed
So interesting book, I didn't want to finish reading. I made thirty pages of notes on my kindle and went thorough them twice already. I beloved everything with Gregg Braden especially Missing Links serial on Gaia.
Deeper Awareness Thorough inquiry on how we believe what we think and the touch on of choices. Astonishing how slow we are to change collectively in spite of advances in technology.
The irony I knew information technology was in that location inside of me all forth... Very inspirational! It changed everything in my life for me.
This was really a adequately painful book to read every bit it would seem the author doesn't really understand much, if anything beyond a most superficial understanding of natural selection or alternatively is an Intelligent Design proponent (which he denies in the book). Information technology was so egregious at times that I nearly gave up reading on it multiple times. Baroque because I did actually similar some of his other books. Such a shame. I found this to be a strange book. I actually liked the data provided in the first half. But I feel like the second one-half dropped the ideas in the first one-half and became a different book birthday. Perhaps I should have read the volume cover instead of just a blurb nigh the book before reading it. Still, although there were parts I disagreed with, information technology did have some interesting thoughts/scientific discipline data that are worth thinking nigh.
An interesting read I enjoyed office ane of this book as it addressed matters I had engaged briefly but did not get. But having read Gregg Braden caption I will be able to engage amend in debates. As for part 2 , information technology was interesting but repetitive in parts. I'm still glad I read information technology.

"When nosotros experience true compassion in our lives, our sense of separation between ourselves and others, all life, and the world, also as within ourselves, disappears. Albert Einstein recognized the power of pity in our lives, as well as the potential it holds to convalesce suffering. In his words, "Our task must be to gratuitous ourselves . . . by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty."10 The fourteenth Dalai Lama carried this understanding from personal healing to global survival, stating, "I truly believe that pity provides the basis of human survival."11 The recognition of compassion's role in our lives opens the door to the depths of our greatest self-mastery and the extraordinary experiences that make us human being." — ane likes
